RR363 Brake Fluid (1946-1980)

This is a 1 litre bottle of RR363 hydraulic brake fluid. This is the correct fluid for all post-War Rolls-Royce & Bentley models up to 1980 (when mineral based LHM fluid was introduced). 

RR363 is a superior version of standard DOT3 synthetic brake fluid. It has increased lubricity which is designed to reduce noise in the brake pumps and rear height control systems in the 1965-80 models.

RR363 can also be used in place of Castrol LHS2 in the hydraulic systems of pre-1966 Citroen models fitted with a black reservoir and Jaguar models where DOT3 is specified.

On 1965-1980 models, the reservoir holds approx 2.5 litres, the full system takes approx 8-12 litres depending on the condition of various components.

Castrol continued production of RR363 until 2018, when we believe that, due to low production volumes, they decided to no longer manufacture further batches.

Over 18 months of development has gone into the production of this new RR363, which is based upon the original Castrol formulation.
It meets and exceeds all SAE safety requirements.

Please note: This fluid is NOT suitable for all SZ models & Corniche/ Camargue models from VIN 50000 with plastic hydraulic reservoirs from 1980.
